Electric Citizen - Ghost of Me

After bursting to the American heavy rock forefront with their 2014 debut album, Sateen, Cincinnati four-piece Electric Citizen are ready for a Higher Time. Their second album for RidingEasy, it is a breakout moment for the band as a whole and for vocalist Laura Dolan, who stands tall in the spotlight throughout “Evil,” “Misery Keeper” and the rest of Higher Time, rising to the occasion of a fuller, bigger sound and meeting the memorable riffing of husband/guitarist Ross Dolan head on with already-stuck-in-your-head hooks and a fiery, passionate delivery.

King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard veer into metal with their thundering, surreal new song “Planet B.” “Open your eyes and shoot the dingo/All this shit goes out the window,” the Australian psych-rockers bellow over fuzz-bass and harmonized hammer-on guitar leads. “Multi-flashing, rusting tractors/Dying heroes … There is no Planet B/Open your eyes and see.” The band paired the single with a jarringly violent video. At various points in the clip, the seven members — all decked out in matching orange attire — bark like dogs, smile demonically and run around an empty highway before a disturbing finale in which a stranger shoots them all and lights their bodies on fire.

Glitter Wizard - Mycelia

Glitter Wizard plays a unique brand of freak rock and roll that Julian Cope once described as “unashamedly glamorous hard rock”and he’s not wrong. Leaf Hound - Sad Road To The Sea

Leaf Hound were one of the dozens of heavy rock bands that evolved during the late-'60s British blues-rock boom. Rhythm guitarist Derek Brooks and his brother, Stuart Brooks, had been in the Black Cat Bones, a South London-based band that at one time featured Free's Paul Kossoff. Vocalist Peter French and his cousin, lead guitarist Mick Halls, had been in several London groups: Switch, Erotic Eel, Joe Poe, and the Brunning Sunflower Blues Band (featuring Bob Brunning).
In the latter half of 1970, after the Black Cat Bones' lead guitarist Rod Price quit (he was heading off to join Foghat), the Brooks brothers formed a new group with Halls and French, drafting in newcomer Keith George Young on drums. This new group -- christened Leaf Hound, a name found in an anthology of stories by horror writer Herbert Van Thal -- recorded "Barbed Wire Sandwich" for Decca's Nova subsidiary in 1969, and soon were playing shows in England, reportedly blowing headliners UFO off-stage.

Jasper Wrath - Odyssey

US band JASPER WRATH was formed in 1969, when Jeff Cannata (drums), Michael Soldan (keyboards), and Robert Gianotti (guitars) left their former bands to pursue other musical directions; and with the addition of Phil Stone (bass) the new band was formed. The first six months or so of it's existence the band concentrated on writing new material, and then sent oout demos to select record companies in New York and Los Angeles. A few weeks later MGM Records contacted the band, and after a live showcase for the label the band landed a record deal. Their debut album was recorded at Phil Ramone's studio over a few weeks, and was issued in 1971. A short time after the release a national tour is planned, but when Gionatti suddenly decides to leave the band; and a suitable replacement can't be found, the outfit temporarily splits.

TAD - Wood Goblins

Tad (often styled as TAD) was an American grunge band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1988 by Tad Doyle. Among the first of the many bands which came out of Seattle in the grunge era, Tad was notable for the fact that its music was inspired far more by 1970s metal (much like Alice in Chains and Soundgarden) than the punk which influenced many other grunge bands.

Merlin - Iron Borne (Live)

At the beginning of the year, right after The Wizard was released, we decided to switch to a 6 piece lineup and loved the sound so much that we wanted to record and release our first show together no matter how intensely unpredictable or potentially sloppy it was gonna be on stage. We wanted to do it no matter what would befall upon us. Well it ended up being a pretty cool night and without further ado...We are proud to announce our newest release, Dank Souls and Dark Weed: A Live Experience
