"I Go to Sleep" is a song written by Ray Davies, main songwriter for The Kinks, and first released by The Applejacks. It was never recorded by The Kinks, but Ray Davies's demo can be found in reissue bonus tracks of their second studio album Kinda Kinks.

Stray Cats are an American rockabilly band formed in 1979 by guitarist and vocalist Brian Setzer, double bassist Lee Rocker, and drummer Slim Jim Phantom in the Long Island town of Massapequa, New York.The group had numerous hit singles in the UK, Australia, Canada, and the U.S. including "Stray Cat Strut", "(She's) Sexy + 17", "Look at That Cadillac", "I Won't Stand in Your Way", "Bring It Back Again", and "Rock This Town", which the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has listed as one of the songs that shaped rock and roll.

Joan Jett (born Joan Marie Larkin, September 22, 1958)is an American rock singer, songwriter, composer, musician, record producer, and actress. Jett is best known for her work as the frontwoman of her band Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and for earlier founding and performing with the Runaways, which recorded and released the hit song "Cherry Bomb". With The Blackhearts, Jett is known for her rendition of the song "I Love Rock 'n Roll" which was number-one on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks in 1982.Jett's other notable songs include "Bad Reputation", "Crimson and Clover", "Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah)", "Light of Day", "I Hate Myself for Loving You" and "Dirty Deeds". Jett has a mezzo-soprano vocal range.[3] She has three albums that have been certified platinum or gold.She has been described as the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll. In 2015, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Jett lives in Long Beach, New York, and has been a New York resident since the late 1970s.

The Fender IV were an American surf rock band of the 1960s. The Fender IV were started up in Baltimore, by guitarist Randy Holden. Although almost prevented by a bumble bee,[1] he successfully moved the band to Southern California in 1963, in order to play for a more receptive audience. Their music was strongly influenced by Dick Dale, and The Ventures. When the popularity for surf music decreased their style changed to a vocal based sound, and they changed name to Sons of Adam, bestowed upon them by the record producer Kim Fowley.
