Sun Dial - Exploding In Your Mind

Sun Dial, though a 'band' in every sense of the word, is in fact a vehicle for Gary Ramon, songwriter, vocalist, and mean acid guitarist. With Ramon at the helm and his band consisting of whoever felt right at the time, Sun Dial released five albums during the early to mid nineties before Ramon disbanded the group to concentrate on producing records for others. A couple more albums appeared when in 2003 Ramon resurrected the Sun Dial name to finish what he'd started. For me, none come anywhere near to matching the psychedelic majesty of 'Other Way Out', their debut album released on UFO records in 1990.

Kikagaku moyo - Zo No Senaka

Oh what's happening, wonder why KIKAGAKU MOYO have played stuffs easy to understand.
I've got blown by their weird Kraut-ish Oriental edges when I listened to their first single for the first time. The unrefined, non-united atmospheric aggression might squeeze something comfortable into my brain. No objection to say they play acid folk with strong Kosmische initiation upon this EP indeed, but simultaneously I guess they might grab more of folksy acidity with mainstream-y tips.

Soft Machine-Why Are We Sleeping?

A wild, freewheeling, and ultimately successful attempt to merge psychedelia with jazz-rock, Soft Machine's debut ranges between lovingly performed oblique pop songs and deranged ensemble playing from drummer/vocalist Robert Wyatt, bassist Kevin Ayers and organist Mike Ratledge.

The End - Cardboard Watch

Although never achieving the success they deserved, the End are best remembered for their Bill Wyman-produced psychedelic-pop that was a masterful mixture of swirling, dream-like numbers, and flowery, but never twee, pop. Their Introspection album is now viewed as one of the finest examples of British psychedelia.

The Beatles - Within You, Without You

We were talking, about the space between us all
And the people, who hide themselves behind a wall of illusion
Never glimpse of truth, then it's far too late, when they pass away
