Sleaford Mods - Second

In the Robin Lee-directed clip, two actresses (Kate Dickie and Emma Stansfield) portray Jason Williamson and Andrew Fearn in the Mods’ early days when they frequently played pubs. The women are pitch-perfect, down to Williamson’s Fred Perry polo shirt and Fearn’s omnipresent beer. The electronic duo is known for their unorthodox stage setup — Fearn turns on the beats and shuffles in place while Williamson loses it. The actresses do just that in the video, which ends with the pair giving the real Mods the proverbial finger. “We’d forgotten about it, to be honest, until Andrew found it on his laptop,” Williamson tells Rolling Stone of the song, which asks why who you are comes in “second” to what you own. “It was recorded in early 2017 just after the English Tapas sessions… We don’t really do it now, but back in the day we would be back in the studio as soon as an album was in the can. This session was typical of that. We did about six songs if I recall. I’d rather have a proper cooling-off period these days, but there were a few good ideas in that session and this was one of them.”

The Velvet Underground - Oh! Sweet Nuthin'

Loaded is the fourth studio album by American rock band the Velvet Underground, released in November 1970 by Atlantic Records' subsidiary label Cotillion. Despite having a number of singles originate from it, the album itself failed to chart. It was the final album recorded featuring founding member and main songwriter Lou Reed, who left shortly before its release. Other founding members Sterling Morrison and Maureen Tucker would leave in 1971. For this reason, it is often considered by fans to be the "last" Velvet Underground album. It has retrospectively gained positive reception; Loaded was ranked 110 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

Originally hailing from Manchester, England, the Underground Youth make moody, often raw, '80s-style post-punk infused with a darkly psychedelic vibe. Formed in 2008, the Underground Youth was initially the solo project of singer, guitarist, and songwriter Craig Dyer. After Dyer's songs found an audience online, he brought in his wife, drummer Ola Dyer, as well as guitarist Leonard Kaage and bassist Max James, to round out the ensemble. Since 2009's Morally Barren, they have released a handful of well-received independent albums including 2010's Sadovaya, 2012's Delirium, and 2015's Haunted. Along the way, they relocated to Berlin, Germany. In 2017, they delivered their eighth full-length album, What Kind of Dystopian Hellhole Is This?
