Set in Lausanne & Brussels, MW is the musical project of Christian Garcia-Gaucher, guitarist-composer of Velma and Valérie Niederoest (Toboggan/Wild Guys), with Jérémie Conne (Toboggan/Rosqo). A trio, focusing on vocal harmonies, guitar dialogues, repetition, and heady rhythms, MW develops great organic strength live. The musicians get in direct contact with the audience and provoke a trance.

Behind Hyperculte lie Simone Aubert (Massicot) and Vincent Bertholet (Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp). The former whacks her drums with pinpoint precision while the latter tames his double bass, making it thrum in a continuous loop. Together, they hum repetitive and inspired litanies. The result is a hypnotic ball of fire that is contemplative and extraordinarily powerful.

Hyperculte brush with the side of their fists the urgency and audacity of Liquid Liquid, the experimentations of Arthur Russell, the unabashed impetuosity of Neu! and Can, the delirious pop music of Areski and that something ethereal and incantatory from the depths of the breeding grounds of existence.

MASSICOT sounds as if it can barely keep its own energy under control. The songs are reduced to mere skeletons that burst with intensity. Listen their music at https://massicot.bandcamp.com/

The Staches are four kids who have been making music together since they were even younger and dumber than they are now.

They are from Geneva, Switzerland, and for obvious reasons, they are now based in Leipzig, Germany.

Since they started pretending to be adults, they’ve been recording a lot and touring Europe as well as the USA. Resembling a hermaphroditic, four-hemisphered brain, The Staches compose together using their solid punk, post-punk and garage influences; they’re not afraid to pour in some prog rock or psych either.

Their lyrics are belted out in English, the riffs are bold and the beat incisive. A primitive impulse makes itself felt through their music, demanding to be heard.

Cyril Cyril repeats itself as a reflection would in infinite mirrors. A vagabond rumor, borrowed from age-old whispers, beyond Mounts Atlas and Ararat, to whoever is willing to hear the echo of thousands of places where melodies hummed by angels and drums are beaten continuously since the birth of mankind. With a banjo, a guitar, a melodeon, strange drums, multiple voices, and languages as their sole companions, Cyril Cyril cuts a groove from the soul and transcends, for a few tracks a time, the good manners of damned souls. The tandem, disguised as a ghost-like fanfare, rises like a phoenix on the dance floor...

Founded 1984 in Berlin, Marquee Moon soon developed into one of the driving forces behind German gothic. The band’s name goes back to the title of the classic debut album of the NY band Television, as well as a line from a song of The Damned. They disbanded in 1997.

Selofan were formed 2012 by Joanna and Dimitris in Athens. Today Selofan is numbered among the protagonists of the dark electronic music scene. Selofan’s sound and style possesses an extraordinary variety, while at the beginning they were stamped as a minimalsynth act, they soon developed their own audiovisual mix, combining different elements of electronic music, singing or storytelling in different languages and presenting themselves in such a theatrical way, that each live performance is emotionally overwhelming. Selofan have their own musical and aesthetical identity, underlined by their artwork and videos.
